It's been tradition since Mr. Sass and I have been together (almost 15 years!) that something always goes wrong with our New Years Plans, or they just suck altogether. Last year with Hella and Exile was pretty good, but this year was by far the best. For an over-rated holiday, I was beyond content staying at home in my jammies. At the stroke of mid-night
(and yes, Hella I WAS awake!) I had my son in my arms and my husband by my side. Nothing beats having that little angel asleep on my chest! The perfect way to ring in the new year (okay a glass of wine would have been nice too)!
I'm starting the year by being grateful for all the wonderful blessings I have. I have
incredible family and friends, a wonderful husband and the most beautiful son. Last year at this time I never would have thought I'd be a mom. Dreams do come true!
