To Pee or not to Pee...that is the question.

I got talking with a couple of friends the other day. We got on the topic of peeing. I don't know how we ended up there, but we did. Nothing is off limits with me I guess and most of you know I have no shame. We weren't just talking tactics of hovering in a public washroom, or making toilet paper seat covers. We were talking about peeing with significant others/friends.

If you must know, this conversation took place in a very small public bathroom, with one friend on the toilet, me leaning against the main door and another friend in the stall beside her, both doors wide open. Apparently, we are really comfortable with each other. Perhaps it's because we have lived with each other for many years through university and teacher's college. It was a common sight in our house to come up the stairs and have one of us parked on the toilet talking to someone in another room with doors wide open, or one at the sink and one on the pot. I don't think those doors were often closed come to think of it....

Anyways, we were talking about if we peed with the doors open with our husbands/boyfriends around. This may sound silly, since one might wonder if we pee with doors open with each other, then why not with our significant others? Shockingly (not), for the most part we all do. Why not right? The thing that gets me, is apparently the men find this sexy in some weird, sick, are you outta-your-ever-loving-mind way. This comment just might make me and several of my friends close the damn door for once! Sexy? I think not. Perhaps, our men are secretly into those golden shower fantasies and perhaps if we dig deep enough we would find some videos of girls violating each other with urine. *I've actually grossed myself out here*

The question that remains I guess is: do/would you pee with the door open with your significant others or close friends?

For the record, I draw the line there...nothing else gets done with the door open. Take that for you want.

After this post, I think I better come up with something waaaaay more intelligent to say. I am after all an adult and here I am talking about pee...

Saturday part II - "elaboration"

So I have recovered from my verbal diarrhea this morning. I hated to point out the obvious, but that's all I had, and I felt it said sooo much (yeah, not really). Okay confession. I started to write something, then erased it, then wrote something else, then erased it...and was not satisfied with what was coming out. I thought, Hmmm lets leave it for a bit, live the day and see if anything jumps up and kicks me in the teeth. So I left it, except I posted it instead of saving it. So there! Thanks to the people tho that felt so inclined to comment..you are the best! I can no longer make it sound like that was on purpose, or that there was some hidden intelligence there somewhere (although those of you who know me well, know that this is sadly never the case).

Moving on........ "elaborations on a Saturday"

I watched a 'friend' yell non-stop rude comments to her son today, while smoking. She's pregnant. I'm not judging. Okay I am. I'm judging her, because I know her (if that makes it any more right or wrong, I don't know). She does not need to be having a baby. She doesn't want this baby. She doesn't want the beautiful boy she has now half the time. He deserves better. My heart is broken for these babies. Life is not fair.

Went to a birthday dinner for one of my friends/co-workers. I had a great time! Never have I been so surrounded by such beautiful people! All her family and friends, gorgeous on the inside and out. It was nice to meet some new people and have a little fun. I think there was enough food at that house for an army, but maaaaan was it good.

So, elaboration of my Saturday. That's it, that's all.

I'm leaving on a jet plane...

It's funny, I spent my youth saying I hated my hometown and I was leaving the first chance I got. I did. I left for university and spent 5 years in another city and loved every minute of it. Perhaps part of it was the friends that I found myself with and the shenanigans that we got up to. University ended and somehow I came back 'home.' After 5 years it just seemed that it was time to go home. I looked at the city I once hated so much and decided it wasn't so bad after all. I guess I was looking at it with new eyes. I wasn't a teen anymore rebelling against any kind of rule or institution. I didn't have a curfew anymore, and more importantly I could get around better having a car. I wasn't limited to random coffee shops and the mall. The adults that I felt once confined and restricted me, are now friends. I have roots here.

That's what makes this so difficult. Although I have grown to love this section of Ontario, and I am clearly Canadian (simply by that vast amounts of times I mutter 'eh' in one day, and my addiction to Timmys), I am leaving. Yes, you heard me right. I am packing my shit and heading for greener pastures. I haven't really decided where I am going to lay down some fresh roots yet, but I have it narrowed down to 2 places:

Yup! I figure it's got to be great to live in a place called Intercourse! I can only imagine what their recreational centers are like. I think I will love it so much I will have shirts made up: I love Intercourse! Come to think about it, Climax would be awesome too! I bet it's just exhilarating to live there. I think I would try to find a place right in the centre of town, since there is nothing better then being in the middle of Climax.
I will miss my friends and family terribly once I re-locate, but it will be a good thing. I think I will be far more relaxed there...laid back even!

Pad THIS!

I'm really sick of going to shop for bras and being inundated with pads! I'm not going to lie..I have a rack. God knows where it came from, but quite frankly some days I wish it would go back! I'm not so huge that I have back ache or anything, but lets just say there is more than a handful. Anyways.. a little background information. I have a bra/panty fetish (why does the word panty always sound dirty?!). I love those matching sets, and it doesn't matter that I have so many that I think I could go months without having to do laundry for clean knickers. The problem is, everytime I go into any lingerie stores now, it seems that everything is padded. Umm hello! Do I look like I need padding? Some for a little lift is okay. You know, get the girls up and create some serious cleavage, but not to add to the fullness thanks! Why is it then, that I can't find a simple bra with no padding?! Is that so much to ask? The search for new bras continues....

What can YOU find in Photosynthesis?!

If I knew what I knew now, I wouldn't have got out of bed this morning. What a day. I won't bore anyone with all the details (especially if you heard it already!). My favourite part of today was playing a word game with the kids. How many words can you find in "Photosynthesis" They love this game, and I'm well aware of some words lurking in there. We compete each week with the other class, and my class kicks some serious ass at this! The kids never found penis (the first time in 3 years!). The other teacher allowed the word shit, but they had to spell it s _ __ __ and declare it as manure...whatever. Clearly I'm not that cool to allow them to use it..hehe. I did however allow, "hottie" since I found humour in watching an 8 year old use it and then try to explain to me what it is.
I did not allow the following suggestions (and yes they were all made):

*Italics are this kids responses...

1. piss "its just another name for pee..." ummm no!
2. ho "we have hoe" "no ms. a ho like a girl and a pimp. you know..ho!" ummm no!
3. shit "it's a swear word" "it's still a word and I hear my mom and dad say it all the time" ummm no! (for the record they didn't actually 'say that word' but let me know what they were thinking)
Again, clearly, I'm not as cool as the other teacher. Maybe next year...if there is a next year.
4. pot "we have pot" "no. the other kind of pot, the one you smoke" "spelled the same way dear...Moving on."
5. tit "that's a slang word." "You allowed poo" "yes, but this word isn't a very nice one to use when we are 8" "I'm 9" "or 9..or 99 okay? No tit!" (I'm laughing at this point).
6. tits "nooo what did I day about that word?" "but if you allow it we can get 2 words: tit and tits and thats 2 more for our class' score!"
7. tities "NOOWAH!" "but, that would make it three" (insert kids calling out "titties, titties, titties") "Besides you are short a 't' for that form of the word."

The game came to an end shortly after that. I can tell when things are getting a little off colour. Okay, I should have put my foot firmly down earlier so I didn't have chants of "titties" echoing in my room. My class was out of control today. I think they have had to many supply teachers in the past week that they think they are still on vacation from me. It wasn't a total loss. We found 187 words and beat the snot (a word that I DID allow) out of the other class!
Oh yeah..who's cooler now?! In your face!

**You can direct any comments, letters and complaints to the blue basket by my desk. I'm sure it will be full tomorrow! **

Snipets of a Monday

I was sitting in a waiting room today, occupied by the 24 hour news channel (yippee!). There was this horrifying story being shown. It sent every hair on my body on end, gave me goosebumps and will no doubt keep me up all night in fits or terror. It happened somewhere in butt-fuck Idaho United States (I really can't remember....but the further away the better!). Some poor unsuspecting family discovered a HUGE beehive in the walls of their house! 6 feet by 2 feet! That would be enough to cause a coronary, or for me to drop dead on the spot. I think my heart actually stopped briefly upon hearing this. To this poor family, I can't even imagine what you are dealing with... and quite frankly I don't want to give it another thought.

On the same news channel I think I heard correctly that the beloved Cruise-Holmes baby does not infact have a name that means princess or flower (or whatever it is that Suri means), instead apparently some Hebrew people are saying that it actually means "scat, or go away" which is precisely what many of us would like Tom to do.

Lastly, in the column of "it probably sounded better in his head" (thanks to s!) this took place later in the day. My SO and I were going to see a man about fighting a ticket that he got (*sighs*) and really didn't need on his record. After the usual business with fighting tickets and the subsequent payment for his services, he stands up and says, "Don't worry M, I'll get you off!" Is it only me, or is that just way to funny to hear? He really does go out of his way to keep his clients happy!

Make room for me on the couch

A rainy Sunday. Correction: a rainy, cold Sunday. There is nothing like staying home in your pj's and doing nothing! Screw the laundry that needs to be done, screw grocery shopping and screw cleaning! I woke up after minimal sleep (thanks to a great night out), dragged my sorry ass out to walk the dog (got soaked to the core), and then decided that would be my last outing for the day. I'm staying in my jammies and relaxing! It's got to be good for the soul to do this once in awhile. I'll catch up on some reading and maybe a movie too. If anyone's looking for me, I'm the lump on the couch.

Friends with Benefits??

Mel and I were having this conversation on the way home tonight. Our topic? Friends with benefits. We would like some. Correction, SHE would like some. However, she has stipulations. She says that it would have to be someone that she has known a long time, has developed a friendship with, and has that trust. She also has to know that they don't have any sick genital misfortunes such as, "geni-warts" or the "clap." Although it's apparently okay that she possesses both of these (kidding...I kid!). The benefits of this kind of relationship? Mel's opinion is that she just wants the sex, not the worry of what is going on in their lives. Nor does she want to have to plan around them. She would just like to get her "fuck on' and then fuck off. She has only come to this realization in the last year of her life. She is too fed up with the bullshit that many men bring to the table. She would also like to add, "I'm not easy". Let's face it folks, this cougar in training has some standards.

All this coming from the gal who met and had her pic taken with Ron Jeremy.... check it out:

Is there potential for this kind of relationship to grow into something else? Some may say no, but we say yes. For example, we have this friend who was partaking in this "friends with benefits" philosophy. It was suppose to be just sex on the sly. They are now friends with benefits, a house and a line of credit.

In my own opinion, I'm not sure I could do it. At this stage of my life, I view sex as something very different. Sex to me is so much more then getting your jollies off. It's not just physical, its emotional too, where two people can connect and really become one. However, I'm also at a different stage in my life. I know that Mel eventually wants to get back to this.

Don't get me wrong, she does eventually want a meaningful relationship. Mel has seen how things work. She got married young, was in committed realtionship for a long time and has a son. She is very choosey and careful, but honestly misses the intimacy of a man. She would love to one day get married again and have more children. Until then, is it so wrong to have a little fun?

Celebrate with me!

Another small milestone has been reached with me and my little blog here. 100 posts! Small in comparison to others, however, it's not the size that matters right? Hmm that's something else I think (although there is that little poem: It's not the length, it's not the size, it's how many times you can make it rise!...can I stretch that to apply to my blog?!).

When we reach our 100th day at school we do a whole day of celebration with everything centering around the number 100 (it's just an excuse to have a little fun really!). I will spare everyone the little song and dance routine I do (trust me you'd thank me if you had to witness it). I tried to come up with something clever, like 100 things you didn't know about me (but do you really want to know that much about me? Besides, I don't think I could make a list that long and make it interesting). I also thought of giving away free beer to the first 100 people that come by, but unfortunately everyone is out of luck as s! has claimed all 100 already. Sorry, I should have said no repeat visitors. So I guess the saying "too bad, so sad, sorry about your luck chuck, suck it up buttercup" can be applied here, unless I come up with something clever soon...the odds are not good though.
So with a lack of celebratory ideas, I'll give myself mad props, and to the rest of you: "hugs and kisses to all your pink parts."

Pass the KY

I was pissed off this morning when I went to go fill up on gas. It seems that I went to the gas station uprepared. You see, I filled up my tank and forgot the anal lubricant. I went in and payed for the gas, then bent over the barrel so they could fuck me up the ass some more. Without the lubricant it made for a very uncomfortable anal raping. My ass is sore and my wallet is empty. Damn oil companies.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall....

my breasts are too big,
my mind is too narrow
my butt is too wide
my legs are too short
but its a good hair day... so all is well!

No, I don't have anything else to say besides that. I can't get past the great hair day I'm having. I'm not really this shallow, and nor do I really go on about what I dislike about myself. I swear. It just sounded good. Let me have this moment damn it.

Coming soon to a screen near you...my ass.

Imagine my horror. I went out to grab a few groceries and was in the checkout line when I happened to look up at the screen which shows your purchases, and up there for everyone to see is a picture of my ass! No kidding. At first I wondered if there was a pervert in the vicinity with some kind of sick shoe cam, but why would it be up on the grocery checkout screen? I looked around and found the culprit camera, just staring at my booty! Conversation as follows:

Me: excuse me, could you please tell me why my butt is on your screen?
Check out lady: well, it's to see if you have something on the bottom.
Me: I can see quite clearly that I don't have anything on my bottom.
Check out lady: not your bottom ma'am, the bottom of your cart.
Me: then shouldn't it be pointed at the cart?
Check out lady: well technically it is, but you see you've pushed your cart forward and your bottom is in the way.
Me: oooohh. Are you going to charge me for that piece of meat?

What is this world coming to?

Happy Easter

I always love family dinner. It's interesting to see who takes the conversation across the line first. It's usually me. I wonder though if other people have civilized dinners and sophisticated conversation. Not that we are barbarians and can't hold an intelligent conversation, but it seems to be far more fun to be crass and raz each other. The odd flying roll at a brother isn't so bad either. After dinner, I find that my stomach hurts, not from over-indulging on my mother's cooking (even though her cooking is a rarity!), but from laughing. It's a shame that we don't get together more often. Now that we are older and are busy, it seems that I have less time to spend with my brothers. Don't ever tell them I said it, but they are kinda cool. I look up to both my older and younger brother (but to be honest I look up to the younger one because he is like 6'4"). It's weird that I spent the better part of my childhood beating them up (alright, alright they beat me up more often...) and avoiding them, and now I look forward to seeing them, even if they could use a shower more frequently (I kid). I guess I can go back to partaking in some chocolate now that Lent is over? Whatever way people celebrate Easter, I hope it was a good one!

Another Saturday with yokals.

This is how I know I am getting old. I went to the Toronto Home Show, and had fun. Maybe I shouldn't admit that. Maybe it's because it's been so crazy around here that I needed the distraction...ok that's what I'll tell myself! I was prepared to see a lot of different companies selling windows and shit like that, and I wasn't let down in that department. I wasn't prepared for all the freebees (and who doesn't love freebees?!) and the good deals I found for useful stuff around the house. I came home with lots of good treats!! I even managed to get the cell phone company to honour a deal (for teachers) they knew nothing about. I got tones of free add ons, a cool new phone and a way better deal then I ever expected! I love to bargain and if I do say so, I'm pretty good at it. I won't bore you with details of what I've managed, but if you ever need to purchase a big ticket item and want someone to go with you, I'm there!

I also managed to do a lot of people watching. I could sit on a bench and watch people all day. Very amusing. I also had the unfortunate opportunity of seeing way to many camel toes (both male and female alike) and mullets (again, sadly both male and female). It rekindled my desire to create a coffee table book of both...Mullets Across America and Volume 2: Camel Toes (with a specific chapter for Canadian camel toe: The Moose Knuckle). I just need someone who is decent with a camera! Hmmm...maybe I should start posting some of the sick pics I've taken...maybe a special day dedicated to the camel toe and mullet?

On that note, I will share one last piece of the Home Show with you. Here is a picture of one of the home show vendors. I'm not really sure what the hell they were offering. I did venture up to ask if I could ask to the "whoreman," but it seems he was out on business. Shame really, I had a few questions for him.

Wanna ride with me..didn't think so.

Sometimes I feel like everything is going in my favour, and the next minute I am spiraling out of control destined for some firey crash. I've been on a never ending rollercoaster ride, and I don't think there is an end in sight. Just when it looks like I'm on even ground and the ride will come to an end, the door slams shut and down another dip I go. Lucky for everyone I:
a) like rollercoasters (although this ride sucks royally)
b) will ride it out till the end no matter what
c) have a strong stomach and will not by puking on the person next to me

If all these ups and downs were in bed..it'd be a lot better!

Easter HNT...after a small absence!

In honour of Easter (and a 4 day weekend), I got a little creative last night with the paints! All I need now is some Easter hay and some real chocolate. I hope the Easter bunny is good to you!
Happy HNT!

It's finally the time of year that I can share one of my favourite comics! Chalk it up to my weird sense of humor, but this cracks me up to no end. I am also the fool who will stand in the aisle of a card store and laugh at all the corny cards. My favourites are the ones that play on words, like the card with the tiny lawn mower on the front that says inside: "each day I love u a little mower." Enjoy:

I can't help it if you don't find that funny. It's been making me laugh for 4 years now. And yes, part of me is ashamed that I know just how long that picture has been sitting in my inbox, and how many times I've looked at it and laughed.

I can't help it: I Yam what I Yam!

Yay! Good things are happening!

Things have been going so well for a lot of people around me, and I'm so excited for them! Whether its news of a baby on the way, a new relationship, job opportunities, or the one friend who's boyfriend found out his cancer is gone, I am so excited and happy for them. I'm going to get all sappy here and say that my friends mean a lot to me, but of course I will do it in my own way:
Friendship is like pissing you pants,
Everyone can see it,
But only you can feel it's true warmth.
Thank you for being the piss in my pants!

Canadian Math at its Best

I found another fine example of signage! (Is that even a word?) While roaming around downtown, I came across this gem. It's a sign from Kentucky Fried Chicken advertising their "Toonie Tuesdays." For anyone not familiar with what a toonie is, it's our $2.00 coin. The deal that is usually advertised states that you can get a chicken meal for $2.00. Clearly, these folks have had their head in the deep-fryer too long. However, if I should ever find myself craving some chicken on a Tuesday, I will definitely go there, since this "Toonie Tuesday" deal is too good to pass up. I just hope they cook better then they do math!

That's a Twist

I did a coffee run at lunch for the girls at work today . We were all in a desperate need of a "pick me up" after the interviews last night. It's pouring outside today too, and the kids were in alllllllll day. After I had placed the order, I moved off to the side and this older lady came up to the counter. She happened to be short a few cents, so I gave the lady the difference. I thought it was kind of odd that she didn't say thank you, or even look at me. Maybe I was raised differently, but whatever right? I just shrugged it off when I heard two voices speak up, "You know when someone does something nice for you, you should say thank you." and "People will stop doing nice things for you when you're so rude." The 2 girls speaking up were highschool students. Let's call them 'goth' (although I am using the term loosely here). They had some great piercings and some wicked fashion sense! The lady just rolled her eyes at them and snuffed their remarks. How rude! Who knew that that conversation would have taken place with those young girls 'lecturing' the older lady! I thought it great of them to speak up too. I guess there is hope folks!

I can cross this off my list

Now I've heard it all...I think. Tonight was parent teacher interviews. I wouldn't bother commenting on it, unless something note-worthy happened. And it did. I had a single father come in to talk about his son, who is a handful to say the least. We got off topic somehow talking about the things that kids are exposed to today, compared to when we grew up (and for the record he has 10 years on me!). We naturally talked about the amount of sex and violence on tv these days. The rest of the conversation went like this:

Perv dad: Kids see a lot of sex these days. When I was a kid I would steal the Sears catalogue and be 'satisfied' with the girls in their panties and bras. That lasted me a few years, until I got my hands on a Playboy. Playboy was pretty tame compared to what you can get these days right....right? You do look at porn don't you?...... Common, do you look at porn?
Me: *pause* errmmm (*is there a correct answer to this?*)
Perv dad: Kids can see a lot worse on TV then in a Playboy, nevermind some of that other porn that's available (note here that he had this look on his face...a far off gaze. Probably thinking of his stash at home and a few favourites I'm sure).

I think I managed to avoid answering, because he soon moved on to ask how old I was:

Perv dad: When we were kids, you couldn't see a tit if you tried. I'm probably a bit older then you though. How old are you?
Me: Mr. Perv. Your son knows not to ask a lady his age, clearly he learned that from your ex-wife? *laughs* I'm 40, shhhhh.

Thank god (?!) that after a minute or two of deep thought he realized that I must be kidding. Either way, our time ended and he got up to leave. Was it me or was he holding the report card file in front of himself on the way out?!

What does your name mean?

I saw this on Mackeydoodle's blog. I had to wonder what the hell would be said for me. Here's what those intelligent people at Quiz Galaxy had to say:
Lisa --
[noun]:

A lewd street performer

'How" will you be defined in the dictionary?' at QuizGalaxy.com
Well, there's a shock! Maybe I should do more to live up to my name? Usually when I look up the name it means "see Elizabeth"...*groans..I know that was a bad joke*.
I decided to look up my alter-ego name too:
Boom Boom Kitty Fuck --
[noun]:

A person who falls into an outhouse and dies

'How" will you be defined in the dictionary?' at QuizGalaxy.com
Yeh, as if I'd be in an outhouse, and you can be rest assured that I won't be now. I couldn't think of a worse way of dying, then drowning in a pile of shit, and having some anaphalatic shock to a peanut. What does your name mean?

Tuesday, April 04, 2006

Is this normal? Probably not.

I have a little confession to make. Not many people know this about me, and I think I should just own up to my little quirk. You see, I have this 'thing' with being on the outside of something. It freaks me out in some way. I won't scream and run, but I am very uncomfortable. I won't say anything either, because I don't want people to think I'm a freak or go out of their way to accommodate me....I can cope. I hate being on the aisle seat in theatres/stadiums/churches, I don't like to sit on the edge at a table (I prefer the inside corner thank you!) and if there is a group of people, I would like to be somewhere in the middle. I can sleep more soundly if I'm on the side of the bed that is further away from the door. I like the 'feeling' of being tucked away somewhere, not exposed. I've given this a lot of thought (unfortunately) and I wonder why I do this? Do I secretly think that this will save me if some axe murderer bursts in, and if so, does this make me an evil friend for putting others on the 'outside?' If you know me, it doesn't make a lot of sense, because I like to be in the thick of things. I am no stranger to being the centre of attention either. I am quite comfortable with being in front of people too, so why this need to be on the inside and not 'exposed?' Am I nuts? I know people who are scared to touch cotton balls. To me THAT is slightly nuts. There I said it. That is my quirk....one of them.

Sing with me: "Monday's Suck! Monday's Suck!"

Everybody seems to hate Mondays. Today, I join the posse. I've been soaked twice today from the torrential downpour, my lack of umbrella, and the need to take puppy for a walk. It doesn't help that I live in a muddy swamp right now, not having any grass down. I can't keep anything clean and it's grating my last nerve. I slept in (damn daylight savings time!) and had to rush, so I looked like hell on wheels today...and moisture and curly hair are not known for being great friends. I'm done. I don't think I'm good at hating things...because as crappy as parts of my days were, I'm still in a relatively good mood. Figures.

One story in the news today that is unfortunate, but somehow I've found some humor in it (and once again secured my place in hell no doubt). This guy apparently lit himself on fire in the bathroom of a Tim Hortons and ended up dyeing. People were saying he was a terrorist. Give me a break. Although I have to agree that if a terrorist wanted to attack Canada and cause some hurt then Tim Hortons is probably the best place to do it! Think of all the casualties if it happened in the morning rush hour! I figure he is probably some pissed off wanna-be share holder who missed the boat on this one, or they screwed up his large double-double. It's a shame either way. The line-ups must have been extra long at neighbouring Timmy's in the area as a result.
I hope the weather picks up, and the week goes smoothly...for everyone!

It's not what it looks like I swear..Part 2

Such a short time and I've gone and done it again. My best friend came to visit for my birthday this weekend, and we decided to hit a few stores and shop for some summer clothes. We went to one store and they had the usual display of cute little panties. I happen to have a 'fetish' for knickers and bras (somehow it sounds less dirty when I say knickers), so I was drawn over to them. My virgin eyes soon lay upon something I hadn't seen before: Scratch and Sniff Panties. At first I thought...what the hell is the point? Are the scents going to be fruity or something like tuna? Then I wondered if a gal was wearing them and had to give the area a quick scratch for whatever reason, would the air be suddenly filled with the aroma of cherry or strawberry, thus exposing her? My curiosity was peeked so I had to check them out. And then it happened. I was 'testing' some of the scents when I caught the eye of a lady and her son entering the store. I had several pairs in my hand sniffing them. Yes, I am now officially a panty sniffer. Thank you very much.

Not 20 minutes later we stopped for a tea and a muffin. The lady at the counter asked, "is it okay if your muffins are in the same bag?" Response of the day? "Sure, I don't mind if her muffin touches mine" I rest my case and thank you Mel for laughing, and to be honest your muffin was very moist against mine and I enjoyed every bit.

Good thing Mel doesn't embarrass easily and is use to my shenanigans. Okay, to be honest part of the reason she is my best friend is that she is exactly the same as me, so she is usually right there with me participating, or laughing with me (or is it at me?). This really only encourages me to behave badly, especially when I know I'll get a laugh from her. She made the weekend extra special for me and if she reads this: Thank you so much for the scrapbook. A little walk down the last 12 or so years was great! You managed to capture every side our friendship and in the same time captured some lovely fashion I'd rather soon forget! Every time I see the "Oh Lord" page I laugh...so thank you! You have no idea how close to tears you got me!
