I'm leaving on a jet plane...

It's funny, I spent my youth saying I hated my hometown and I was leaving the first chance I got. I did. I left for university and spent 5 years in another city and loved every minute of it. Perhaps part of it was the friends that I found myself with and the shenanigans that we got up to. University ended and somehow I came back 'home.' After 5 years it just seemed that it was time to go home. I looked at the city I once hated so much and decided it wasn't so bad after all. I guess I was looking at it with new eyes. I wasn't a teen anymore rebelling against any kind of rule or institution. I didn't have a curfew anymore, and more importantly I could get around better having a car. I wasn't limited to random coffee shops and the mall. The adults that I felt once confined and restricted me, are now friends. I have roots here.

That's what makes this so difficult. Although I have grown to love this section of Ontario, and I am clearly Canadian (simply by that vast amounts of times I mutter 'eh' in one day, and my addiction to Timmys), I am leaving. Yes, you heard me right. I am packing my shit and heading for greener pastures. I haven't really decided where I am going to lay down some fresh roots yet, but I have it narrowed down to 2 places:

Intercourse PA and Climax MI

Yup! I figure it's got to be great to live in a place called Intercourse! I can only imagine what their recreational centers are like. I think I will love it so much I will have shirts made up: I love Intercourse! Come to think about it, Climax would be awesome too! I bet it's just exhilarating to live there. I think I would try to find a place right in the centre of town, since there is nothing better then being in the middle of Climax.

I will miss my friends and family terribly once I re-locate, but it will be a good thing. I think I will be far more relaxed there...laid back even!
