We had our first pre-natal class on Thursday.
We had to watch "the" video. I've actually seen it more times then I care to count, but it was funny watching some of the reactions of those who hadn't seen it before (especially the dads!). After the video the instructor (for some reason???) asked if anyone found it offensive.
I'll tell you what was offensive: The amount of pubic hair on that woman giving birth!
I may not be able to see my cookie right now, but I own a mirror and a razor dammit. If all else fails, I'll be at the spa requesting a Brazilian. Someone else can deal with it. I'm not going to have anything resembling a small woodland creature resting on my crotch.

Yikes. I don't know if you've ever heard comedian George Lopez's tirade on how hot 70s bush was but ew.
LMAO...you my friend are hysterical.
I think now you understand the reason why the doctors in the OR began laughing when they heard my response to their "prepare to shave" comment.
My comment was simple and straight to the point: "Oh no worries guys, you won't be finding 70's porn star bush down there!"
Pregnant women have ways of keeping up the grooming, and most would thank them I think!!
You kill me!
Thanks for the memories!
There's a quick scene in Knocked Up where it shows just what you're talking about. Really doesn't warn ya, either!
Just... Flash! "Ohhhh Damn!" Guys fainting in the audience and everything.
I guess they don't call it a beaver for nuthin'. :)
HA HAHA! I feel EXACTLY the same way. I obviously have never been preggers or given birth BUT I will be sure to keep that area "presentable" for that special day. I mean, why should anyone have to see 70's bush, including my poor child's first sights of his/her new world! ICKY!
Oh, and happy Thanksgiving! ;O)
LOL! So I wonder why, when we first hit puberty, we can't wait to get "the bush" and then for the rest of our lives we try to figure out ways to remove it! :P
