I consider myself a pretty intelligent person. I come from intelligent parents and am well educated. I have a pretty level head on my shoulders and some common sense. Sure, sometimes I choose not to use it, but it's there for when I need it.
As a kid my mom would shake her head at some of the asinine and simply stupid things I would do. Apparently on this day, I checked the common sense at the door and proceeded in without caution. This one particular time I was probably about 7 or 8 years old. My brothers and I were sitting around the table and mom was cooking something. We had a toaster on the table that had mirrored sides on it. I was looking at my reflection in it and was clearly moved by the beauty that was staring back at me (riiight) because I felt so inclined as to kiss myself in the mirror.
We had been using the toaster (toasted tomato sandwiches if I remember correctly) so it was friggen HOT!!
I burned my lips.
Yes, I burned my lips on the toaster from kissing my reflection.
Not the smartest peanut in the turd.
