Here I Come Trent!

Yeah! It's finally here! I've been counting down the days to this concert since January when the tix were bought! I know I need to get out more, but give me this moment okay? I decided to take 1/2 the day off to 'prepare' for the concert tonight (however if for some reason you work for the board office, I have an appointment this afternoon, I swear!). Although, now that I am at home, I am kind of board....the clock is moving slowly *sighs*. I told my students that I wouldn't be there for the afternoon (and threatened them to behave for the supply teacher). As the darlings that they are, they wanted to know where I was going...so of course I had to lie. I told them a music workshop, and they take this time to grill me about the details, which I had to shrug off pretty quickly. These are the same kids that argue about my age. In the beginning of the year one asked and I told them I was 99 and that they would all be invited to my 100th birthday party if they were good for me....now they are a little more smarter (thank god) and know that I'm not 100...but they still argue amongst themselves. It seems they are divided 1/2 think I am 17 and the other half are guessing 34 (guess which kids are getting A's?). I wonder what their parents would think if they knew where I was really going, but then again who really cares? Talk to me tomorrow when I roll outta bed and make it there for 8. Complain if I look like shit, and can't do my job because I still have that ringing in my ears. The kids are having art and gym all day tomorrow...they'll love that.
