I pity the fools that are camping right now. I really do. Not to long ago I would be one of those fools out there camping, come hell or high water. Now, I check the weather channel and think...not worth it. After the last camping trip where we suffered through a train passing every so often (not to mention the 4am stop and go grinding outside our tent...thank you Nicole for the fine booking job you did!) and the ice and snow, I do not wish to ever be that cold again. We canned it for this weekend before it even started. Lucky we did. It has done nothing but pour rain all day. It even started to hail for a short time, followed by wet snow.
So we found other ways to amuse ourselves. I figure, we have to make something out of the weekend. Hella and I went shopping (dangerous), although I can say that I did not buy one pair of underwear...not one! Proud? I am. We spent the rest of the day with a wine bottle close by, some good company and some bad movies. Not much, but it was fun. I do not recommend watching Fun With Dick and Jane and Hostel was a let down. I need to stick to my list of "must-sees" that way I can't go wrong! Care to add to my list?

I've never been camping and the thought sends shivers down my spine. I am way to old and cranky at this point to ever start camping. I like beds. I hate bugs.
Movie must see's - the corny chick in me says "Breakfast at Tiffany", it's an old standby on a cold, rainy day...that and liquor but that's for another time.
