We Canadians love our Tim Hortons (from here on out referred to as "Timmy's" like all the cool kids do k?). We make no bones about it. You can hardly go 2km without hitting a Timmy's.
Imagine my shock when I see a notice at a local Timmy's. It seems that at one of the locations a sick, demented, deranged lunatic chick has caused some upset (to say the least). She apparently has AIDS and has been pricking herself to make her bleed and dripping it into the coffee. I KNOW!!
Insane.
Know they are recommending that all patrons of this location get an AIDS test. You see, this location that this has happened to is on the main street of the town I work in and came from. It also happens to be the location I used to frequent (thank god not any time recently since I now hang with 'my peeps' in the north end) and that my brothers still frequent. Can a person really get AIDS this way? Scary thought.
So that's what's new in my neck of the woods.

OMG!! How truly fucked up! I dunno if you can get aids that way, but you can certainly get hepatitis!! A few years back we had a hep C scare at our local SONIC eatery. I think like 300 people had to get a shot for it, just from eating there, and my PPHead was one of them. I was prego with Riley, and didn't want Sonic, so thank god I missed out on the "crappy" food.
