Freeeeedom!!!

Bust out the vino. Fire up the grill. School is out for the summer! I've spent the better part of the last week tired and dirty from the cleaning of my classroom and the year end activities with the kids. I want to make sure I send them off with some great memories of grade 3. Now I am ready to catch up on some sleep and spend my days in search of trouble. I no longer have to constantly watch my p's and q's. I'm off tonight to say farewell to a few co-workers at our year end staff social. I expect it to be a late night and a rough morning. A few co-workers joked at how after each summer I come back with something interesting to tell or something done to myself whether it be an injury or in the case of last summer, my new nose piercing. I wonder what it will be this year. I can only imagine that at some point this summer I will end up in the emergency ward (especially with any length of time spend with Hella). Although maybe, just maybe, I will get up the gumption to get that tat. Relax Hella, I'm not saying for sure, but I am getting closer to that chair! I guess time will tell. Here's to a great summer for everyone though!

And of course my Haiku for Friday!

Schools out for summer
Can't wait to spend days lazing
I'm just like a kid
Hot and sunny days
Sweaty boobs and frizzy hair
Ice cream by the pool
Heading to the beach
Frolicking in the water
Sandy toes and cooch

careful, leave that sand in there too long and it will turn to a pearl (or herpies...)
